Shadow Runner di A. T. Valentine offre un’immersione affascinante in un futuro distopico pieno di pericoli sia umani che non. Il vero cuore della serie è la storia d'amore tra i due protagonisti, che evolve in modo naturale e coinvolgente proprio grazie alle avversità superate insieme. L'interpretazione di Stewart Crank è impeccabile e rende l'ascolto molto piacevole, tuttavia la narrazione manca di quel mordente necessario a tenerti incollato fino alla fine. Resta un po' di amaro in bocca per diverse sottotrame lasciate in sospeso, ma è comunque un ascolto godibile per chi ama le atmosfere cyberpunk.
