I got to 21
I just can't.....this book may be something a person would love but I just couldn't get to the end without wanting to knock some since into someone.

it takes much too long for the story to get going
the main female character is uninteresting and full of sh...

Too neurotic to enjoy
I get that her life hasn't been easy, but she certainly goes out of her way to make it harder on herself by way overthinking everything. The inside of her brain (which comprises most of the story) is exhausting. Not an enjoyable listen.

Ending was rushed
I liked most of the book until the trip to Costa Rica. It got so detailed on the trip to Costa Rica I was really bored and felt like skipping ahead. The ending left so many questions I felt like this was a series.

That was soooooo depressing
The narration was fine. The characters were okay, actually some were very good. But the story itself was so depressing from the very beginning. I listened to the whole thing because I thought it would get better. Wrong. Even the last couple of chapters weren't much better. Good thing it was free.

Quick and enjoyable read / listen
I really enjoyed this book. It had a great plot. It was colorful with humor and just enough romance. I cared about the characters. I recommend it.

Easy Read
This was a quick & easy read. Very informative on different cultures & their food. Character was easy to like but she got on my nerves a little bit her making a daughter her whole life.
