Another Excellent Book
Apollos Thorne has quickly become my favorite author in this genre. He masterfully deals with power creep in a way that makes his characters strong but preserves the feeling of real danger.
Even more importantly his characters are not perfect. They make mistakes which feel real and have to deal with the consequences. By real I mean they do not become idiots for plot convenience but rather their mistakes are natural choices someone might make based imperfect information.
On the topic of acting natural, his characters speak and act in realistic ways for the most part. Additionally, they manage to be unique. Far too often in this genre I cannot remember which sarcastic sidekick is which because they all have the same personality. I remember his characters and they feel like friends that I'm catching up with when I read his books.
Finally, he is committed to his stories. This shouldn't be as rare as it is, but I'm sure that anyone who is an avid reader of this genre has felt the annoyance of finding an excellent Litrpg series only to suddenly have it stop and/or to wait years for the next book. It is indescribably frustrating to realize that an author has abandoned a series in the middle. I don't see Apollos doing that, which is probably the best endorsement I can give to read his excellent stories.

Before listening, read this!
Just a quick warning to everyone enraptured in this series as much as I am. Once you start listening, you will be possessed by some sort of magic that is much more powerful than any spell there is in the underworld. For the next few nights, sleep is going to be nigh impossible - so don’t listen to it at night unless you don’t like sleep or you are masochist.
All jokes aside, WOW. I started this series maybe 2 weeks ago but since I started, I devoured every single one of the underworld series one after the other. Now I’m stuck in a perpetual state of wanting the next book to come out already. Serious props to Thorne, the sheer creativity and character individuality/growth is astounding. I genuinely can not wait until the next book comes out, thanks for captivating my heart within the underworld!

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
The whole series is AMAZING it had me on the edge of my seat more times then I can count. BUY THE WHOLE SERIES YOU WONT REGRET IT!

WOW... 5 stars out of 5
The first book in this series showed up in my suggestions a week ago. All the books thus far have been captivating to the point of obsession. This book out of all of them is by far my favorite. It’s filled with action and struggle. The progression of the main character is different to other books in this genre that I find unique. Every action has a big effect on the experience earned. The internal struggle with the main character was awesome. I’ve never read a book like this one and cannot wait till the next installment in this series. Graham’s narration of this book also was exemplary. I really do hope to see this story progress further. Time to reread this series just in case I missed something.

It’s like...
I got to the end, and I felt disappointed like something was missing. I wondered, why do I feel this way? Why do I feel so down? What is missing... more. That’s it! MORE.
Seriously one of the best LitRPG series I have picked up in a while. Can’t wait for the next one, so I’ll be listening to this one again very soon.

I have enjoyed listening to this series and it seems to have reached a pinnacle with this one. just released and already wanting the next one.

best series ive ever read
the story was amazing the characters were all easy to remember because they were so special and cool. read all 6 books in about a week and a half. would recommend and I'm sure you would love book 1 all the way up to book 6! i would read this again in a heart beat if i didn't have a photographic memory but i probley will listen to all of it after a month just to revisit this awesome series.

An expected, yet unexpected ending.
Performance changed very little between the first book and this one, but not bad. Story had some descent twists, but there were some minor inconsistencies, easily overlooked. Overall, I enjoyed it and would be interested to see how the story may progress from here.
On a side note, you could play a drinking game for every time you hear the word "rebuke". Try it out! lol

Great end of the saga
Loved it.

Thoroughly Enjoyed
Very enjoyed this book series
the finale being long enough to really sink your teeth (hehe vampire pun) into it is lovely.
the power scaling of characters in the storyline is nicely paced, the attitudes and personalities of the secondary and tertiary chatacters are individualised and varied.
you can tell who's who and what they are up to and why.

Best book in the series so far
This is the latest book in the series and one of the best so far. If you like Ian Writes cradle series you will like this too. The story, pacing, characters and audio narration are all really good. I recommend it.
