I've bought this book, in hopes that somehow I can get a tip or two on how to rid myself of negativity. This book have a only a few pages inside, but contains most common, very basic advice about positivity. I firmly believe that simplicity, as simple as it is, is the hardest yet most effective of advices. I really liked how straight forward this book is and how it'll guide you to overcoming your negativity in life.
This is an active book. Exercises are given and journaling is encouraged.. I found it quite useful, and a good addition to my library.
I recommend the book,especially if you would like to control and understand negative self-talk and recycling of painful memories. Please note this book does not take the place of counseling.
At some point, I am not sure if they complement each other, but, I think the book was able to justify its goals. Second, I think as the title of the book is scientific or psychological, I was actually looking for some factual or scientific analysis in the book. Unfortunately, there is none. All in all, I appreciate the efforts given in this book. Really worth recommending!

This is a book that everyone should read. We have been trained in our society to deny our negative feelings not realizing that this results of trapped emotions and stuckness. John Roberts has done a fantastic job explaining in detail how to truly heal your emotional states and transform your life.

This book is absolutely a must-read. The techniques are very simple and easy to use but at the same time powerful as hell. This was written so anyone that has any type of interest in Psychology can read, understand, and learn from.
I love this book, comprehensive yet easy to navigate and read. I bought it to get a more thorough understanding of CBT and how this theory translates into therapy, and it truly explains this amazingly!
