Too often we store in our mind bad memories, and negative thoughts.
We tell ourselves sad stories which we believe in.
The only real antidote to our own sorrows consists in gaining control of our mind.
The origins of sadness and happiness cannot be found outside the mind.
We all have the power to bring peace and serenity to your soul.
We can do it in a natural way: by breathing.
When you're going to bed, after a long, long day, you need to let go your worries. Your angry moments. You need peace within yourself.
So, take this book. If you haven't ever meditated, dig in.
Open a space in your heart.
Feel the echoes in your soul. And feel yourself breathing, without forcing.
The book is just short quotes, but some really good positive thinking bits and pieces. It will help you to get inspiration. Loved it.

An interesting book, for those how like self-meditation, the book also has some interesting tips for meditation. It is not the best book I have ever encountered. However, it is OK.
I personally recommend reading Thoughts across Time because it is a great source of profound thoughts and words that you can mediate on, that will keep you motivated and inspired for days to come.
The book is effectively a stream of consciousness, endless list of tips and quotes. They are not organized in any way, which I think is unfortunate. I love the idea of the book, but just found the whole thing overwhelming. Some of it is contradictory too.
Love this book! It says it all just a moment at a time. When you need a moment of calm or some reflection, just pick this book up and thumb through the pages to find what you might need to be with in that moment. I always find something that resonates and gets my soul a stirring!
Wonderful little book anytime you want a moment of inspiration or realization. I have it on my night table and take it with me when traveling. So many words of wisdom, encouragement, and peace--very calming to listen to before falling asleep or on waking up.
It is so chock-full of practical ideas that remind you that meditation is not just limited to sitting in silence. For me, it is a blueprint for a more peaceful life.
This a wonderful book filled with simple yet powerful reminders of ways to shift your focus and attitude.
