Best book Iv'e heard

I loved this book I've listened to it at least 10 times. I can nearly say it word for word. I think the narrator really understands the people in the book

Delightful Rendition

L.M. Montgomery's "Rilla of Ingleside" was always one of my favorite books growing up, and it is just as delightful to rediscover it now. Barbara Caruso's voice is flexible and captures the different 'voices' in the novel very well. There is some serious (wartime) subject matter, and she carries this off very well in addition to the lighter, humorous material. This audiobook is a very enjoyable listen for any Anne fans.

I wish this series had not ended. It was such a pleasant break from the chaos happening in the United States.

If you’re tired of the chaos and vitriol that’s taking place in the United States, this is the book for you. Starting with Anna Green Gable‘s, each book successively brought you into the world of Green Gable and lifted my heart.

A faithful take on a childhood classic

Old books can often simply feel dated. While this one isn't entirely exempt, it is also singularly charming and life affirming in a way that one rarely encounters anymore. Earnest and heart-warming without becoming saccharine.

Excellent reader to an excellent book

I really enjoyed this reader. She reads with real emotion and makes all the characters so distinct. An excellent way to spend 11 hours. You will laugh and sob in equal measure.

Amazing book

This book is beautifully performed, you feel as if you were there. Rilla of Ingleside is such an amazing book that continues the story of Anne and her family. It tells of the hardships of a World War and is a great read.

The Great War at PEI

Rilla of Ingleside is by far the best novel I have read about World War I. Having lived through the war herself, L.M. Montgomery tells the story through the eyes of the mothers and fathers, sisters, wives and sweethearts that fought the Great War on the home front in an account that is both heartbreaking and beautiful. And Barbara Caruso does as good of a job narrating this last in the Anne of Green Gables series as she does with all the rest.
