I was expecting so much more...

Maybe it's my fault, but when I read "Psychology at the Movies" as the title of this book, I wanted to see a deeper analysis of the cases. There are a lot of examples, yes, but it's all very superficial. And then again, the author talks about his own experiences and that does not contribute with what he's trying to tell. I have read other books about psychology and movies and I was expecting to see more of that. I was wrong. The narration is boring, the tone is very flat.

Avoid this book at all costs

What would have made Psychology at the Movies better?

The narration sounds like a robot. Very difficult to even sit through 5 minutes

Would you ever listen to anything by Skip Dine Young again?

Author yes

How could the performance have been better?

Darren Stephens' performance is flat and difficult to listen to. NO modulation, no feeling, it really sounds like an artificial voice. So sorry. Cannot even listen past the 1st chapter.

Any additional comments?

I wish I had not purchased this book
