Sintesi dell'editore
A once-elite, beautiful young woman has turned to a life of Tarot card reading for English nobility in order to maintain a life of squalor for her and her family. But even Jessamine Maitland could not foresee Alistair MacAlpin's irresistible charm. A privileged aristocrat turned infamous cat burglar, he's going to take Jessamine on the adventure of a lifetime. Little does she know, the arrogant thief has absolutely no intention of ever being caught - by man or woman.

Terrible reading of a bad story
The only reason I finished this was so I could warn people not to waste their money! The “romantic hero” in this story was cruel and abusive with no redeeming qualities or depth of character. And the reader only made it worse. A huge waste of a credit!

Prince of Swords
The book was wonderful. Of course, I love everything Anne Stuart writes. However, the narrator was American and of course, the book takes place in England. She couldn't quite get the accent and halfway through her talk, she would "forget" she was using an accent. And what little accent she had was terrible.

Good story but terrible narration
I absolutely love Anne Stuart’s books and this story was no exception however the narrator was very off putting as her accents were terrible and very distracting. Such a shame as with the right voices it would have been great.

Worst ever attempt at a Yorkshire accent
I love Anne Stuart's books but this was spoiled for me by the most appalling 'Yorkshire' accent I have ever heard. I almost gave up listening. I don't know what it was really - I'm from Yorkshire and I couldn't work out what it was supposed to be. It was truly awful. Poor Brennan! The 'London' non-RP accents were no better either and similarly unrecognisable to my ear. Such a shame. Oh and Robin Hood's Bay is NOT in the Yorkshire Dales!
