Good, relatively short introduction to Ovid

I knew almost nothing about Ovid and this gave me the basic information that I was looking for concerning when he lived, what he wrote, and why someone might want to invest the time to read and understand his work.

Great book, fantastic performance

Thoroughly enjoyable and informative. The one quibble I have with the performance is the recitation of Latin verse. In the few spots where Ovid's own words are cited, a recitation that elicits a greater appreciation for the poet's craft is desirable.
