Outer Diverse is the first book of the Splintered Universe Trilogy, set in and around the Milky Way Galaxy. The first book begins as Galactic Guardian Rhea Hawke intestigates the massacre of an entire religious sect, catapulting her into a treacherous storm of politics, conspiracy and self-discovery. Her quest for justice leads her into the heart of a universal struggle and toward an unbearable truth she’s hidden from herself since she murdered an innocent man.

Splendid narration makes story come alive!
If you could sum up Outer Diverse in three words, what would they be?
Like an action movie with depth and intrigue
What other book might you compare Outer Diverse to and why?
Outer Diverse and its two sequels in the Splintered Universe are like a cross between Star Wars and Game of Thrones with a sprinkling of detective film noir ...
What about Dawn Harvey’s performance did you like?
Dawn Harvey breathed incredible life into the lead character, Rhea Hawke--both sarcastic and vulnerable at the same time; a detective with a cynical edge, and sultry voice tinged with wiry sarcasm. The story unfolded through Rhea's narrative like an old film noir as she unraveled mysteries that led to the greatest one: her own.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Listening to Dawn Harvey's performance--she narrated some 30 different alien voices, including the sentient ship of Rhea's--gave each character an independent presence that had me listening with intense pleasure. There were places where I was very tense and others where I laughed and cried.
