Wes is re-doing his freshman year at UCLA after quitting school, moving back home to deal with a tragedy, and breaking up with Liz. Liz is drawn back to Wes when her internship requires them to work together. Wes is prepared to make every romantic gesture for the girl who loves love, but does he still know Liz after their time apart? Vilinsky brings her signature vibrant delivery, which includes gleeful screams, anguished shouts, and worried whispers. Bushnell exudes charm and provides excellent emotional range. His flat, ragged voice when Wes is in turmoil contrasts with his peppy voice full of gratitude at being back."
