Great!

One of my all time favorites from the Twilight Zone series! Creepy as hell! with a life's lesson at the end.

Heavy breathing from the Twilight Zone.

Jocular headline aside. this is not an enjoyable episode. A tired and sad old lady speaking in a tired and sad old lady voice. She keeps getting phone calls, with just a voice wheezing "hello" over and over - actually it sounds more like "heavy breathing".

Ending is pretty good actually, but getting there is depressing. Enjoyment value - 2 stars. Overall grade bumped to three stars, du to the "Twilight Zoney" ending.

Somewhat Disappointing

This was an interesting premise that went on a bit too long. Performances were great, but this could’ve been shorter. The age shows as well, before cell phones.

throwback

i absolutely, positively, love these short story radio skits. with all the technology in this day and age it’s nice to know that these stories are still around for people, young and old, to enjoy. thanks Audible for bringing them back.

Great performance by Mariette Hartley.

A very good redo of the classic Richard Matheson episode about a mysterious caller. Great usage of the original soundtrack as well.

So far, one of my favorites

I was pleasantly surprised to find these Audible Original Twilight Zone Radio Dramas. I look forward to more. You can't beat the price.

Dreadfully dull and poorly acted

The whole “twist at the end” technique used by Twilight Zone episodes doesn’t translate well to the book on tape format. This particular episode is exceedingly tedious and drags. The voice actors are stilted in their delivery.

TZ: night call

I have seen almost ALL of the original TZ episodes, and this one "Night Call" is always the one I recommend.
