Regional Screening Day is one step on the way to their dream. If they don't impress the selectors tomorrow, that could be it. At fifteen, their chance to play elite netball could be gone. For Rachel and Sophie, playing representative netball is a dream that consumes almost all of their time. And when a chance to try out for the Zone Squad arrives, the girls can hardly believe that they are on the brink of realising their dream.
Yet when tragedy strikes Sophie's family, Rachel realises that life sometimes has other priorities. She learns what it means to be a true friend as she helps Sophie and Sophie's brother, her boyfriend Daniel, come to terms with their grief.

At netball camp, Rachel gets into an argument with the coach and finds herself off of the team. Bernadette Hellard and Lisa Gibbs have created a series of stories with simple language and strong plots for young adult sports fans. Jayne Tuttle has a sweet voice with great comedic timing. Her Australian accent brings to life the world of Netball Mission. As she should, Tuttle has lots of fun with this charming audiobook. Younger listeners will love getting right into the heads of these spunky characters.
