Sintesi dell'editore
Beloved author Kasie West brings her signature witty banter and rom-com fun to a bold, fresh format. Think Four Weddings and a Funeral for YA.
One year. Eight events.
Eight chances to...fall in love?
Sophie works for the local florist, so she's part of every big event in her small hometown, delivering flowers and making sure things run smoothly (which they almost never do). This year, Sophie has tons of events to get through - including a wedding, a funeral, a Valentine's Day party, a Fourth of July cookout, Thanksgiving, and a New Year's Eve bash. And at each event, she runs into Andrew, the distractingly cute - and annoyingly pompous - guy working for the local caterer. As Sophie and Andrew deal with last-minute food disasters, romantic dramas, uninvited guests, and family feuds, they find themselves thrown together amid the chaos.
Told over the course of one year, this adorable love story will be a new favorite from master of the rom-com Kasie West.

Good narrator and cute book!
Some audiobooks have pretty boring narrators, but this one was done so well! It’s a cute, clean story.

Another great escape from Kasie West
Fabulous literary novel? Nope. Fabulous, fun, entertaining, got-me-hooked read? Definitely! I enjoyed this one much more than Fame, Fate & First Kiss (I’m not into Zombies). Loved this one so much that when I couldn’t finish it on Scribd due to tech issues I immediately purchased it on Audible (my nieces have my hardcopy). Thank you Kasie for another great escape!

Good YA listen
I enjoyed this book. It was cute and the story held my attention. I liked the interaction between the main characters. It was pretty predictable but still enjoyable. The narrator did a good job at reading. She read at a nice pace that was easy to listen to. I would listen to another book she narrates. I would probably listen to or read another book by this author. It was a light hearted book. If you like YA romances you will probably enjoy this one.

It's cute...mostly. But...
It's a cute story. I liked it. Mostly. The main character was petty and kind of a jerk for most of the book. It was hard to like her and sympathize with her. Still, I obviously kept listening, so it was at least a good enough story that I wanted to know what happens next. The narrator was great, but like almost all of the books I listen to on Audible, I had to speed it up to about 1.25/1.5 reading speed or else it was just too slow.

Can’t believe I made myself finish this.
This is not a cute story. The characters are annoying, the dialogue is cringeworthy, and the love story is forced. Would not recommend.

Terrible
First of all, I saw nothing to indicate this book was YA. It was called a rom-com and I was hopeful for a fun story about two people in their twenties or thirties who have witty banter and develop an interesting connection that you care about for a bit as they traverse actual developed obstacles and tension and express themselves in relatable ways. That is a rom-com. Now, I can enjoy a good story about high school students, but this story was so contrived. The male romantic lead is treated as pompous by the female lead immediately and during a series of forced tension situations where nothing is happening and she is just rude for no reason and he is Mr. Entitled in her head. The dialogue was so boring and her thoughts simply repeat everything that is happening in a drama filled "I can't believe this" way when, again, nothing interesting is happening. The narration was not good, but that really could have been because there was so little to work with. However, it is my experience that a good narrator can elevate a 1 star story to a 2 or even 3.

Super cute
This was super cute, which was a surprise. This I’d the first book by Casey West that I 30 enjoyed. Sophie and Andrew have great chemistry. Would recommend this book; especially to anyone, who loves a cute contemporary!!

One Flower Crown
This was so cute! Now one of my favourite of Kasie West's books. The book is separated into parts, taking place over the course of a year, each one marked by a different event that our florist narrator, Sophie, works for. This worked so well; there was no pacing issues and no filler chapters.
Sophie's relationships with Andrew, her best friend, Micah, and her family were heart-warming and the characters' development had a great pay off.
I really liked the narrator too and I thought her voice matched the text perfectly. If you're looking for a light, cute read definitely give this a try.
