Sintesi dell'editore
Little Men brilliantly extends the March family saga begun in Louisa May Alcott's classic Little Women. Jo---now married to the good-natured Professor Bhaer and with sons of her own---has become the unflappable matron of an extended family at Plumfield, a school that the Bhaers have founded with Aunt March's legacy. Jo's rambunctious youngsters grow up in an atmosphere full of high spirits and misadventure---a world enlivened by Alcott's unique powers of observation and sympathy.

Little Men
Little Men takes place where little women left off. It tells the story of Jo and her professor and the adventures of the children at Plum field. As in little women I love how there's always stories within stories. The characters are also well-developed that you can't help falling in love with them.

Inspiring
I found this story to be a great inspiration as a mother and home educator. It is a wonderful living book for those desiring to aspire to a Charlotte Mason approach to education as well.

Poor Narration
The vocal idiosyncrasies of this narrator go from odd to annoying very quickly. I love the story of Little Men, but I could not finish this particular version.

This made me have so many memories of my MA home.
I must admit that this well written story, I assumed was written by Jo March originally, told such well told tales about each of her Boys. There was much I had forgotten from my reading this wonderful book in my teens in the early 1950's. Little Women was first of course. Books given to me at Christmas. Was so glad to find them on the Audible that my granddaughter introduced me to. The details of who married who, and then Lori wanting to marry Jo and she could not say yes to him. Aunt Jo's home of Plumfield left to Jo in her will, was such a wonderful home to so many Boys that you could tell Jo knew just how to raise them. I have listened to this book two times in ten days and still have many teary sections as I could feel the love that was shared in this book and just how she and her husband, Papa Bauer, Fritz knew just the right words to comfort them and teach them how to get along with her Boys. With loving thoughts I would tell you to read this very special book as I have. Marilyn Raymond Gagnon March 10th, 2020.

my view on a Little Men
one of the best ways to bring laughter and joy is to read this book. Mrs Alcott's demonstration of fun and games makes you never want to put it down. When she published "Little Women", everyone wanted the book.I hope everyone has the same thirst for this one too.👍😌
