A spiritual journey through four stages as we mature along the spiritual path, explains Michael Beckwith, we move through four stages of consciousness. Open Your Heart & Mind...
This book caused a huge paradigm shift in how I view myself as spiritual being having a human existence. I've been "on and off" with my meditation practice, but Beckwith's idea of bringing earnestness and sincerity to my spiritual practice made me realize that I can go to a deeper level in realizing my relationship with the Divine. It was a great "listen".

Wonderfull!
A great book from Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith who has been seen on the Secret and Larry King, Oprah. I think the Dr is very sincere in what he wrote here. A great read.

A spiraling upward experience - for a lifetime

Life Changing
Dr. Beckwith is such a phenomenal teacher. This is a fantastic recording that I have now listened to several times. The process is life changing. The narration style makes learning easy and a pleasure. I highly recommend this recording to anyone who is seeking to pray better, meditate better or just to live life more fully!

Profound
Been listening to this at least 20 times and I still "hear" something new every time. His book and ideas unfold over time as you grow and start to truly understand the principles.
His amazing speaking skills (free flow yet no "umms...ahs") somehow help you pay attention (hard to explain, it just does) so that helps.
Had a profound change in my life and it will probably continue to do so.
You do not need to be religious to grasp the core principles. I was agnostic/atheist but the teachings of Beckwith and a few other events made me rethink my attitude.

Some good info, can ramble at times
I didn't realize until right now that this was under the category of speech until right now. And it makes sense... there is some great information in here, however because of the speech factor, there are times when he rambles.
I wasn't really liking the music in between the breaks.
Overall there is some good information, i expected more, however not bad overall.

Left me wanting more
I expected so much more of this book, and I tried very hard to listen to it because I love to hear Dr. Beckwith speak, but unfortunately, he never really seemed to get to the point.

Another hierarchy
The author brings forth another development hierarchy that may look too simple for those familiar with Wilber's or Loevinger's models.
Not quite a good listen for long-time developmental psychology students.

Unsure
I have heard spiritual audiobooks before, and this one seems to never actually get to the point. I listened to the first half hour and then skipped ahead over an hour and it seemed to repeat all of the wonderful ideas one should be open to, but in a circular way sort of like a hyped up sales pitch.

Paradigm shift as You experience stay open you also allow yourself to grow when you experience a Cognitively Shifts in your Perception you in turn become aware be it through mindfulness the source God or sources is there in stillness like Rumi said that which you seek is also seeking you you have to let go of the magical hold the ego has a hold on you the elusion that ties to convince you hypnotize you that you’re separate from source or God where we need to dissolve our limitation or scarcity as source is abundance there is more for everyone breaking these barriers requires a wise mind hence mindfulness to experientially birth forth Gods true nature as you not limit Gods nature as you saying I cannot do this or that it’s written that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Question is WHY not live as an extension of source instead of living a life apart from God. The ONLY thing inside of us that tries to convince us of that which we are not that wants us to believe that there is a personal self apart from source is the ego that wants to STOPS us from birthing and bringing forth that which seeks to unfold within us or the greater you is your soul is you is also already you is seeking you like Rumi said and micheal beckwith showed me that in-fact with the right cultivation being the channel the receiver allowing myself to stay open and align myself with source I can start to catch its vibration be in alignment with who I truly am in time I can begin to command what is in me to come forth, let my soul unfold let it emerge come forth as me in my everyday life as you and I are already that which we seek or want to manifest in our vision is not in the future it’s already there waiting for you and I to be in the right condition like a seed requires the right condition for it to germinate and come forth and bring the right fruit be the joy to the world serve a portion of this Devine miracle to humanity, share the love and extend its beauty to others. All we have to do is we have gut to learn the stages of the unfolding of our soul through life visioning process but in truth you are already are it, we just have to lift the veil covering our eyes as it is told, that we have eyes but can’t see hence life visioning are the glass that helps you see through the ego past it to where your true self resides and lets you come save to face with the real you letting your soul unfold

Great, will listen over and over and practice.
Invaluable lessons, superb explanation. If you are on the road of spiritual growth this is right for you. Excellent. I guess the audible could be the best version. Author's speech.
