When outlaw biker Cole Austin sees a young woman handcuffed and being dragged across the yard of the Dead Souls Motorcycle Club's remote clubhouse, he's stunned by the realization of just how dark his world has become. This scene is even more than his twisted soul can stomach. Compelled to intercede and save her, he has no idea his whole world is about to change. He believes he's doing the right thing until a secret she's hiding makes him question if saving her may be the biggest mistake of his life. The two strike a deal - a deal they may both come to regret.
Is there anything he won't do for her, or are there some things he just can't?
This is part of The Evil Dead MC Series, but each book can be read as a stand-alone.

This isn't your "A" typical MC romance, but enjoyable none the less. I loved this book, but I how ever didn't like how the Author skipped a lot of the key scenes in the book. "SPOILER ALERT" the Author skipped three years into the future, Angel now has a sick child without even informing the readers that there was a pregnancy in the first place, and you read that Angel is upset over this phone call from Cole's wife without writing the scene out, but the Author cut so many corners in this novel that it's not even funny. I don't like that the author didn't take the time to write out the key scenes in the story that's a shame. I would've loved to read/listen to that phone call scene from Cole's wife to Angle (the baby's mother). Overall I still enjoyed the book. So if you're looking for a not so typical MC romance book This is it. "OUTLAW" is a keeper for me. Book Recommendation: now if you're looking for somewhat hard-core MC romance try this title out "CUT WIDE OPEN" By Abby McCarthy. If this review helped you in any way please click HELPFUL for me. I chose to listen to this book because of the narrator, Aaron Shedlock; if he hadn’t narrated it, I probably never would’ve picked it up....and I would’ve missed out on a great story. This is the first book I’ve listened to by this author and, despite the cover, I was not disappointed. I absolutely loved this book. It pulled me in from the very beginning and I ended up staying up half the night to find out what would happen next. As always, Aaron Shedlock did an amazing job with the narration. I will most definitely be listening to the next book in the series. I hope I don’t have to wait too long! Give it a listen, it’s a credit well spent.

I want to start out by saying Aaron Shedlock nails the narration on this book. His narration draws you into the story and does not disappoint. You get lost in the story listening to him and how he changes his voice to interpret different characters is amazing.
I was a bit reluctant to listen to this one after reading the summary. But if you are a fan of SOA you will love this book. You are immediately drawn in and Cole is such a likeable character! After the first part of the book it takes a very unexpected twist of events that keep you on your toes. You will be surprised at how big these bikers hearts are and how much more they are then what you see. The story pulls on your heart strings and you will have a roller-coaster of emotions.

Wish the remaining series was on audible. The first novel leaves the reader wanting more!

Where does Outlaw: An Evil Dead MC Story rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The Kindle edition of this book is one of my favorites and I can read over and over again. So happy it has been released in Audible. Anxiously waiting for the rest of the series to be released in Audible.
Loved the book more please Bikers are great people and have big hearts please remember
This story was freaking awesome! I don't know what took me so long to read it. My only regret is that the other books in the series are not available via Audible.
Cole rescues a young woman, Angel, from the clutches of a member of another chapter of his MC. This man also owes Cole $$ so he offers up the girl. Turns out that the guy bought the girl. Something about the girl calls to Cole and he promises not to let anything else happen to her. They spend 9 days together before lies force them apart. Now 3yrs later Angel returns because she needs Cole’s help...her daughter needs a bone marrow transplant. Needless to say that Cole is furious with Angel for leaving and never telling him that he is a father. The lies are exposed and now the pair can move on, right? Naaaaah...there is a jealous wife and other complications. I enjoyed the story, for the most part; was a bit disappointed in Cole that he would cheat on his wife w Angel...and that Mack was let off the hook for driving Cole & Angel apart in the first place. That said, we get a really sweet HEA. Awesome narration!
I voluntarily accepted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.
Parts of this book I wasn't feeling too much ( you take the good with the bad when reading MC books) . This was a sweet, sad, sexy love story. Im very excited for the next book 🤗
It was my first book by Nicole James. I like MC stories. The storyline isn't typical. This book has two parts. The first part is rough and the second part is emotional. There are some twists and turns, so you feel like in a roller coaster. This story ends with an HEA. I like the two main characters, Cole and Angel. The other characters are also interesting. Overall, it's a good story. The narration was really great, as always with Aaron Shedlock. He did a great job with all the characters.
Would you listen to Outlaw: An Evil Dead MC Story again? Why?
I will be listening to Outlaw again in the near future for sure I never just listen to a good Audiobook once and this was a good one.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Cole was my favorite he was so alpha but also had a soft side.
What does Aaron Shedlock bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
I love the way Aaron Shedlock does a different voice for each character he is good at the female voices when some can get it so wrong. He is also very good at making you visualize the story as he reads. He is one of my favorites.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
the first half of the book made me feel anxious and sad for the main characters but also wanted to scream "come on get it together". But the second half was just very sad but told in a way that I didn't feel teary just sad and wanted to know it was gonna be ok. I loved the story.
Any additional comments?
This was a very different type of MC book if you like the swear at women and treat them awful then this is not like that. I have read quiet a few hard MC books and love the club feel this is more about the real human side of the MC but don't worry it's still sexy and rough just with a more human feel. I am so glad i listened to Outlaw I just wish the other books in the series were on Audio.
