another great story, just no epilogue.

Heartwarming
Kate Hewitt does it again…a wonderful heartwarming story. This is the fourth book in the series and just as wonderful as the previous three.

Should give hope to all who read it
This series is a bit heavy, yet it mirrors more about reality than many authors write about. This particular one in the series should give hope to any who have struggled.

Such a sweet series
Kate Hewitt has written a delightful series about hard luck women and a doughty Countess. So refreshing not to deal with sexploitation!

Good story and the characters were interesting with a few twists.
I didn’t understand why the narrator was American when this was set in England with British characters. There was also American words used which I found quite irritating. Aside from that I liked the story and characters and it was read well.
I assume there are more instalments as the ending wasn’t really a full resolution.

I know the author is from the US but….
She could have researched her locale more accurately, not least around the mechanics of ante natal care in the U.K.

Disappointed there was not a stronger finish to this story
Although the story itself was delightful, the accents used by the narrator were far too posh. Other than this it was a very good, easy listening story.

Obviously written by an American
I would have hoped that by Book 4, in what could be quite a fun series the research relating to things like the weather and the holiday season would be more accurate.
As for the narration, why are all the women so posh (even the midwife) and no trace of any regional accents. Also there only appears to be 2 male voices, so it is difficult to tell which character is speaking.
