Great Overview of Judaism
This is a great book to listen to if you are interested in the Jewish religion. It gave a basic overview of the history of Judaism and told about several of the major holidays associated with the religion.

Good, but not spectacular
Great narration. But it was light. Maybe that was its intention. Maybe I had already studied Judaism in greater depth. For a starter in this religion / culture / miracle, it may be good and informative, leading on to something more in depth that can be obtained from audio lectures from Rabbi's.

Kingsley Great; Others Unlistenable
This was an interesting introduction to Judaism and I enjoyed Ben Kingsley's narration. But then there was a 'company of dramatists' who randomly appeared. All of them delivered their lines in such melodramatic fashion that it was almost impossible to listen.

Clear and concise
Excellent overview from the many denominations and practices within the religion. Only complaint is that the Hebrew language was not placed as an important aspect of Judaism.

A very good introduction to Judaism
I loved the brevity of the book while still covering the most important points. Now I'm encouraged to read more on the subject

as a Jew I was very impressed
I'm always looking for a short and sweet introduction to Judaism, but in a tradition of 4,000 years old simple and short often means that they only discuss certain types of Jews. this book got through all the major concepts and all the major movements and practices in less than 4 hours, and did so in a way that is about as neutral toward all types of Jews as I've ever seen. definitely recommend.
