Great story but less than stellar female narration.
While I absolutely love Julie Kagawa’s books - this saga included; I am completely disappointed in the performance of Caitlin Davis. Her narration is bland and lifeless. Many times it seemed like she was awkward and unsure if her voice should have high pitch, low pitch, or what. Great performances by the guys though!

Great ending but.....
I enjoyed this series very much, but I must say I noticed the “f bomb” used a lot in this last book.
It seemed to be used in places it really didn’t go. I don’t remember it so much in the other books. Seemed a tad excessive.

Frustrating ending
Ember was still the most annoying character of this book. She can make all these threats when people mess with her but wants to save everyone too. That dialog could have been left out completely. Also, her voice narrator was highly annoying as well. Every time she said the word ROOM made me cringe.

oh man, it's over
Good ending to a good series. There were some moments like hmmmm I know what is going to happen next, but KaBlam! Totally unexpected! I hate the book separation anxiety I get, but this was totally a great series to start and finish.

outstanding series
I think this was the best of the series. I enjoyed it and couldnt stop listening. Action was well told and gave me ours of entertainment, worth listening to multiple times.

A Fitting End
The final book in thia saga was magnificent, I really did not want it to end. I'm hoping that the writer will extend Garrett's story, always knew that him receiving Dragon Blood would change him. I hope that she finds it in herself to create a story for him.

Just amazing !
I loved everything about this book, I wish for another one actually! Having read all her books now I have to admit I would read anything Julie Kagawa brings on the table! I can’t wait for another story
I listen to the stories with my daughter and we both laugh cried and anxiously listened to every second, my daughter wants to be an author now so thank you Julie for being an inspiration for other generations!

Loved this series
I have really enjoyed this series and will look at listening to more of her books.
One very picky point (purely from a life long avid uni player) the scene where the youngster’s are playing uno, they played it wrong 🤣

Amazing!
I have read all the books in this series and I really enjoyed them all. I liked all the characters and found my self becoming very attached to some of them. I was sad when the final book came to the end but was very happy with the way it ended.
