Overall good but there are annoying parts.
They come up with a plan. "so in future years they would talk of how well this plan worked out" so... It's a spoiler. A book spoiling itself mid story.
And sun zu... "he should've red up on chapter 5 17" was there sun zu in their universe? No? Then did you give them the book? No? Then how the hell he could've read up on it? Then author goes on to state some phrases from the book and makes up a definition of what excatly sun zu meant by what is written.. How do you know that. Did you ask him? When did you meet? Why didn't you drop by the time traveler party?. But a bit about the book. Overall it's okay. It's not something exceptional! It's the usual, Mc has omni knowedgle about every and all subjects presented. Forestry? He knows it all. Military? He knows it all. Cooking? Knows it all even on a different planet. Economics? Knows it all, better than the people who have Neen there their entire lives. Pr management? Barely an inconvenience. Arts and crafts? Master. Public engineering? Expert. There is nothing that he doesn't know.

The expositions are annoying.
