Romance
I don't know how realistic this story is but it had excitement and was very different from any I've read. Too much focus on the romantic attraction in the middle of a high stress, life or death situation for my personal tastes but if you love clean steam then it will be a good choice for you.

A sweet clean retelling........
Of the Poseidon Adventure. Lots of action, angst, clean romance, and misunderstandings. I enjoyed it.

Exciting and romantic!
I have to admit I'm not an avid fan of this author's work. That 8s why I'm so tickled to have l9ved everything about this book. Most especially the MCs. Huge shout out for Navy Quinn! She is a strong, independent, well developed character and is consistently portrayed as such from start to finish. 👏 👏 👏 Not to be out done by the hero of all heroic characters, Holden Jennings. I think he just might be the perfect man. Not because he is gorgeous & rich. athletic, and emotionally powerful, but because he admits he to himself, he was happy to relinquish control for a bit because being the one that kept it all together was taking a toll. Swoon!! Wonderful way he is shown to be vulnerable without just telling the reader. Plus, the way he never waivers about his love for Navy...sigh... who doesn't want to be adored like that!
The situations during the hurricane were very real and had my heart pounding ( being from FL, I could relate to the stress and possible peril). I felt the writer captured the scenes accurately. All the characters in the group were developed during the crisis, and I could picture each one clearly.
I've read about 10 of C.C. books, and I have to say this one is the best written.
The narration did the book justice!
Bravo!

Highly recommend
I really like this entire series. Has a little bit of mystery and drama and love. It kept me engaged for the entire book.

thrillingly intense
I've been eager to read Navy's story since being introduced to this oldest sister early in the series and it didn't disappoint.
A hurricane leaves nothing to chance and I enjoyed how that unexpected wrench-in-the-plans propels the adventure and suspense to new heights.
I loved the characters and the romance, as well as the extremely powerful plot.
Content: mild+ moments of peril/danger; mild romance; mild religion

This wasn’t the book for me.
I listened to the whole book because Proximity-Danger novels are among my favorite and this is a quick listen. Unfortunately, there was way too much personal drama, immature behavior by the characters and stubborn misunderstandings for my taste (the latter which could have easily been resolved with 20min of mature listening). I feel the target audience is probably much younger than myself. This was my first (and last) book by this author.
