Inspirational, beautiful and timeless
Any additional comments?
I have now forgotten how many times I listened and relistened to this collection. The narrators bring each poems to life and several times the words brings ears to my eyes. These poems are timeless and touches the heart. I turn to these poets when I need inspiration to write, I listen to this when I need to remember what true beauty is, and basically anytime I can. The romantic poets speaks directly to the heart, so if you love poetry, this is a must have. If you don't like poetry, you should also get it and they will remind you of the power of words to create something immortal.
Just beautiful and the music really helps to separate the different poet sections so it's easier to keep track. I haven't found another collection of different poets that is so good. Doesn't matter if you don't understand poetry; listen to the words let their rhythm and emotion take you away, and that is the highest form of understanding. Forget about the world and allow yourself the luxury to enter pure sensation

7.0/10– Byron and Coleridge top notch, the rest flop
Skip to Byron and Rime of the Ancient Mariner for the magic. The rest are decent to slow, repetitive.

Excellent
A great selection of poems surveying the keys of the major canon. Thoroughly enjoyed Michael Sheens renditions particularly of Blake. Will be looking for work by him in future.

Lovely reading by Michael Sheen
This was a real pleasure to listen to. The readings are very dramatic but well judged I think. Michael Sheen has a great voice. I have never better appreciated these poems.

Make time your friend and stop awhile
Delight in a journey through Romantic poetry, beautifully rescucitated by Michael Sheen. His voice shifts and shapes to capture each poet's phrasing and meaning.
From soothing reverence to nature till the depths of murderous despair, he shall lead you if you but allow him in.

Inspiring, gut wrenching, and heartbreaking.
This is the best Audiobook I have 'ever' heard, 2nd is the 'Poetic Edda'.......Thus so far anyway. :)
