Sintesi dell'editore

When dairy farmer Stella Crown's friend, veterinarian Carla Beaumont, is carjacked, it's just the first in a rash of vicious attacks on the town's leading businesswomen. A truck driver, a minister, and a personal trainer also become victims of vandalism and theft. But the community is shaken to the core when the kindhearted Dr. Peterson is found murdered in her office.

As Stella searches for a connection among the victims, she finds much that doesn't seem right in her usually quiet town. Given her suspicions of steroids at the local gym, irate patients at the doctor's office, and Carla's brand-new boyfriend, Stella's not sure where to focus her attentions. But focus she must, or more women will die.

Not as good as I thought it would be.

Would you try another book from Judy Clemens and/or Tavia Gilbert?

I love listening to Tavia Gilbert narrating other stories. But this story by Judy Clemens reminded me of a Mills and Boons story which I don't really enjoy. A story to listen to when there is nothing else.

Has Different Paths turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tavia Gilbert?

I don't think you can blame the narrator Tavia Gilbert, she did the best you could do with a story like Different Paths. Maybe a better story would solve the problem.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No
