When naval officer Troy Weston loses his hands in a training accident, the doctors present him with a unique offer: robotic replacement hands with added strength and durability. He'll be a new man with a new life, far more capable than he ever was before. He accepts, and during his recovery he returns to Lake Superior to pilot his sailboat on bays he's known since childhood.
During a fierce and wild thunderstorm, Troy and his craft are sent through a portal and into an unknown world. When the rain settles and the winds lift, he finds himself on a foreign coastline surrounded by Greek architecture.
Stunned and wounded, he finds another survivor adrift on her wreck - a woman of rare beauty, armed with a sword, two guns, and an iron will.
Pulling her aboard his boat, she will utter a sentence that will change Troy's life forever.
"I am Helen, and you will take me to the war."
Experience this strange tale of alternate universes, magic, and mythology - a combination unlike any before.
Warning: This book contains adult situations, foul language, and a seriously good time.
