Cute story
Cute story…a surprisingly tame NFL star is traded to a new team, and is confronted with his past. Molly had a huge crush on Noah when she was in high school and he was her neighbor. Then their was an unfortunate incident…now she has to work with the hot, and infuriating Noah but that will be a breeze, no fraternization clause and all. Can this couple truly work together and ignore the chemistry? Cute HEA.

Good start to a spin-off series
I really enjoyed the Washington Wolves series by Karla Sorensen, so I was excited to see a spin-off series about the Ward sisters. I read the book as soon as it was released and the audiobook as well.
Molly had a crush on Noah when she was in high school and he was in college. Things did not go well due to their age difference. Fast forward to ten years later. Age is no longer an issue, but both of them have changed. Noah went from the life of the party to closed off, a machine focused only on football. Molly’s joy and love of life help Noah open up. Besides the romance there are some fun interactions with family and friends. Highly recommend!

Hooked from the beginning!
Wow! I was hooked from the get go and devoured this enemies to lovers storyline. Give me a broody, sexy football player anytime. Prepare to swoon, the chemistry is sizzling hot in this one! I can’t wait to listen to the next one in this series. Narration is fantastic!

Second chance romance
I loved this story! I had a hard time with Mollys character at first, the actress sounded still and almost robotic, but either I got used to it, or she loosened up as the story went. Either way the audiobook did not disappoint.

Heartwarming
I found Karla Sorenson when reading THE BACHELORS OF THE RIDGE series. It's a favorite and I hope she'll have those made into audiobooks too! I decided to purchase this when it was on sale. Best decision! I really loved the characters and it had a great storyline. I got warm feelings and couldn't help smiling. Of course there were heartbreaking moments. At the end we get a teaser for the next book. I'll definitely be picking up more from this series.
David Bendena and Em Eldridge are excellent narrators. They were both new to me. It was nice to hear someone new that did a great job! I liked their voices and they performed with emotion. Perfect.

Meh, FMC was boring
DNFed bc I didn’t feel the chemistry between the characters. I wasn’t rooting for anyone they both seemed too focused on careers with no room for love.

omg
The female narrator is horrible. She is so robotic. I do not know if I can finish the book. I have never heard a worse female narrator. She ruined it for me.

sweet romantic story
I quite enjoyed this book. I've listened to the others in the 'effect' series which I also enjoyed. You don't have to have read them, just gives you a bit of character background.
The book centres around the development of Molly and Noah's relationship after not seeing each other for 10 years. Theres a bit of drama but not too much.
Also made a refreshing change that the sex scenes weren't overly descriptive. Don't get me wrong I like a hot sex scene but sometimes they can get a little boring and i skip them if I'm not in the mood for a 15 minute play by play of every move. This had the mix just right I think.
Looking forward to Claire's story next
