There's nowhere left to hide.
The battle for the gap
In the north, the collapsed section of the Wall is defended only by the decimated remains of 2 PARA. Even reinforced by Jameson and the exhausted Royal Marines of One Troop, it's a doomed delaying action at best - and the last choke point in the entire ZA faces an incoming tide of dead stretching to the ends of the Earth....
The race for the cure
Finally united, Dr. Park and Aliyev the Kazakh, supported by Pred and Juice on a mission out into a London falling into chaos, struggle to perfect the vaccine that will preserve the dwindling flame of humanity - and to weaponize the designer pathogen that might just destroy the rampaging armies of the dead....
The defense of the Alamo
Hunkered down at CentCom, the unified ranks of our heroes, led by Ali and Fick, work furiously to fortify and reinforce what will be humanity's final fallback position - forever. But it may be over before it begins, as a runner invasion from the south hits even before the great wave of death coming in from the north....
Brotherhood. Duty. Desolation. The Siege.
I so look forward to each new book in this series and am always concerned that the next will be the last. The dialogue of the Operators, particularly Frick and Pred, have me bursting out laughing as I walk around my Fortune 50 job listening to the book. So many great lines for the ages. Never thought I'd say this but I hope the Zombie A continues on strong so that we can have another 13 books!

This series, this writing, this narrator... continue to blow my mind. At this point I’ve come to expect that each and every book is packed to the teeth with epic awesomeness and non stop heart pounding action. The siege is no disappointment either, delivering thrills, chills and zombie kills.
Warning: put up plastic wrap behind you before reading, it’ll save in clean-up after your mind is blown.
Michael, Glynn and R.C... keep killin it brothers. Favorite series and performance, thank you!!

Hands down the best book of its genre. A must read for anyone who enjoys action.
I have been on this journey, along with Alpha....from
Chicago to Africa, & London. Thirteen books filled with
pages that are turned into live action narration
by one of the top ten “Audible” narrators.
The Siege does not disappoint. Fans of Steven Fuchs are torn between a light at the end of the tunnel for the
soldiers who fight but at the same time a continuation of this exciting story. But all good things do ultimately come to an end. And without giving away what greets you in The Siege let me say I felt as though all the loyal readers of this “novel “ may be rewarded with hope. There is no doubt I would recommend The Siege to everyone. In fact I recommend every book in this Saga! Don’t miss out!
Another hit! R.C. Bray is just incredible, and once again shows why he is my favorite reader for this genera.
Great book i can’t wait for the next one. I only wish the story would of ended with this book
This has to be my favorite series of all time, it keeps you on the edge from beginning to end. Murphys law takes over.
great series book, just wish they were longer as I'm so hooked into the action when it's ended.
An excellent Zombie Apocalypse series with unrelenting yet credible SPECOPS action scenes wrapped in a first rate story line. R.C. Bray is, as they refer to the operators in the series, a tier one narrator/performer who’s style fits like a well worn tactical glove with writing style of Michael Stephen Fuchs. Well worth listening to. Perhaps the best of the genre.
At this point in the series, you love the stories. This one is another good one. Too short! RC is great per usual. The next one is hopefully releases soon.
This one's the audiobook equivalent of standing next to the speaker stacks at a 70s Hawkwind concert. A veritable and quite visceral battering of the ear drums as once again Michael Stephen Fuchs puts his now much-loved badass characters through battles, missions and highly improbable rescues at a quite indecent pace. The action almost never lets up and when you want a narrator to deliver a sense of urgency and high octane action RC Bray is THE first name on the list. Bray and Fuchs seem perfectly matched and must be one the best Audiobook combinations around. It's like they were ordained by a higher power to come together!
So, what are you waiting for? Spend the credit, text your boss to say you will be off for a day or two, sit back and let your headphones spray bullets, blood and gore between your ears!
Unless of course you are new to the Arisen series. In that case, stop, find the Omnibus edition of the first three books,. text your boss to say that you resign and let your headphones do the rest.
I know this type of fiction isn't everyone's cup of tea but for those of us that like it this series is an absolute doozy!

Praise the Lord! I have been waiting for several months for this audiobook episode to be finally released! When I saw it saw it available for download in my audible account it was like Xmas :) Initially not the easiest series to get into....but then absolutely addictive....I guess anyone who has got this far knows that already. The highest complementary I can give to the author is when you are listening and think 'get a grip! it's just a story'. Well done Michael Stephen Fuchs!!!!

As always can't wait for the next. Looking forward to the end story for of survivors.
Nail biting action from start to finish.
Shocks and surprises abound in this the penultimate book in the arisen series. I have enjoyed every minute of this book. Micheal Fuchs is a master storyteller and R.C.brays narration is impeccable, as he brings characters to life in a story so well written and crafted that you really feel you're there. 10/10. If you're looking for a great Read/listen then Arisen is definitely the series for you!
Loved it roll on book 14. gripping from the very start to the very end.
Any additional comments?
The continuation of the plot is good in this book, the story is really starting to come to an end. But I cant help but feel the plot is spread too thinly, there are so many different sub plots coming together and constant flickering between characters that it just feels watered down. There wasn't much from Alpha in this book either, it was almost more focused on other background characters.
There wasn't any stand out moments for me, no noteworthy feats from the Alpha guys either. I think this book would have benefitted greatly from a strong action scene involving alpha and a more concise focus on certain characters.
As always a flawless performance by RC Bray who lends his vast talent to an already compelling and outstanding listen
After a bit of a dip this is back to full on action.
Now wait for next instalment begins...........
If your looking at this review you probably have already listed to the other 11 books. This book brings it all back home to England as things go from bad to worse. If you enjoyed the other books you'll enjoy this one. At times the end of the story seems so close yet frustratingly we have to wait to the next book as the story doesn't necessarily move that quickly but still worth it.
Very good story, sets up the last book perfect, bit of a holding pattern to bring everything ready for a climax. RC Bray delivered.
