trying to get a refund
I couldn't continue beyond the second page listening because the performance was terrible. The inflections and expressions were all in the wrong place. This person was clearly reading. I think I've become spoiled by the actors that are doing some amazing narrating for Audible, because I just can't stand the ones that are not.

a diverting story!
if you are suffering from an overdose of Jane Austen then this is for you. It reminds us that there was another side to Georgian life and it deals with another type of woman from that society. The book is well read and does justice to the rich language of that era.
