This was an interesting episode and was difficult to listen to with modern ears. The motivational aspects sounds fine but the deceptive aspects are hard to forgive with modern sensibilities. Even at the time many were distrustful of the propaganda but for different reasons: they were still getting over being burned by it during WW I.
