Sintesi dell'editore

[Contains explicit content] As industry and the war effort intensified, so did the need for workers, leading to mass migration and unprecedented integration. Higher wages and new opportunities offered job-seekers a chance for a better life in their new boom-towns. But as the U.S. was fighting a war against fascism and oppression overseas, long-held prejudices by white Americans led to a surge in racial violence at home.

Freedom for all! (*blacks need not apply)

The racism and hypocrisy addressed in this episode are important topics. However the episode itself felt much much less focused than prior episodes. This one flitted between the logistics of boom towns and the issue of racism without giving enough attention to either issue.
