Brilliant!
When a French woman is found murdered near her cottage in West Cork, the police soon zone in on Englishman Ian Bailey. But the mystery only deepens with conflicting accounts and eye-witness reports. Sam Bungey and Jennifer Forde do a cracking good job in writing and presenting their account of this enthralling and perplexing murder. I was totally hooked from start to finish. Brilliant.

A page turner of a podcast
A fascinating retelling of events. Ian Bailey, the main suspect in this murder case talks at length to the production team. I flip flopped backwards and forwards on his guilt.

To Long with to many Pregnant pauses
Started off to be in engaging story of fact, but after episode 10, I abandoned the story and read about the case on the Internet. The pregnant pauses were too long and I had to keep checking my phone to make sure the podcast was playing.

Detailed and interesting
A really good and detailed example of great investigative journalism. I found it very addictive and loved the fact there was a follow up episode after the main feature. More please

Brilliant
This was a great listen
well presented account of this murder mystery. my only fault is the after show episode was badly thought out and the questions were the most pointless ones on the list, like "do you think americans found the accents hard to understand?" yeah that's what we're all dying to know!

West Cork Podcast.
Well structured and with a balanced view.
The joint narration worked well with both voices easy and comfortable to listen to.
I would recommend this podcast to anyone with an interest in true crimes.
Top rating in each category because it ticked all the boxes.

Addictive
A bit like Making a Murderer on audiobook. Compelling, atmospheric and addictive. And it’s free!
