There are no start-up weekends around me, I thought this book would be very helpful to maybe learn some exercises or some things that they learn. This book is just way too advertise for start up weekend. The majority of the book is stories about people at start up weekend. If I wanted a book to empower me that I can start a business this book is not that bad, but the book is advertised that you will learn how to get your business from concept to creation. The book does not do that. It does have one chapter that is focused on teaching you things, but overall I would say this book to help prepare you if you are going to start up weekend.

Not really worth listening to. Its basically an advert for "start up weekend" from start to finish. There is some gold in there, but you have to dig and dig to find it. Please note, If you read the title and thought it meant how to start a company in a weekend - it isn't at all.

Very disappointed with this after listening to "The Launchpad - Inside Y combinator" which was an excellent audiobook packed full of value.
This was nothing but a paid advert for Startup Weekend, which does sound great, but not when I'm the one paying to listen!
Find another book - it's not worth the credit.
