Sintesi dell'editore

Adrielle Pyper knows how to plan a wedding, and she is especially good at pleasing bridezillas. But when her biggest client and best friend is murdered just three days before the wedding, Adri's world falls apart. She moves to the resort town of Sun Valley, Idaho, and starts from scratch. Thanks to Adri's impeccable taste and unique style, she lands two celebrity clients, and her business seems headed for success - that is until someone vandalizes the specialty wedding dresses she imported from overseas. The race is on to uncover a secret hidden within the yards of satin and lace before Adri becomes the next victim.

With a delightful blend of mystery, toe-curling kisses, humor, and spine-tingling thrills, Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things is a romantic suspense novel that will keep you listening long into the night.

Hoped for better

Spoiler Alert!

Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things was disappointing as it contained obvious stalking and Adrielle (sp?) was am sure businesswoman yet when it came to Dallas' behavior, she was obtuse. Anyone who starts a possible relationship that is that clingy is a warning sign. She ignored that she wasn't into him and kept dating him. She is advised by many to let him go because she wasn't into him, then later blames it on her BFF's words to give her heart a chance to feel something for a man. Plus, when she's with him, she's often thinking about Luke. She wasn't portrayed otherwise to be obtuse, case in evidence, Sylvia.

I was annoyed by the recipes/crafts at the beginning of each chapter. Was that to reach a word count? Including recipes at the end, fine. Then those of us who aren't interested can ignore them.

On the positive side, I enjoyed the other characters who unfortunately didn't get much time. Luke especially because he was shown by actions and words to be a genuine person.

Kirsten Potter's narration did not do it for me. I prefer narrators to give different people different vocals. I think she tried on some, which made it stand out more. That's why I have her 3 stars.

I suggest passing on this as there's a lot that are better to spend your time on.

Such a fun listen

This is a clean fun mystery romance. There are several plot twists that keep the reader engaged. I recommend this title for lighthearted listening.

Completely ridiculous.

There is not one realistic detail to this book.
In rolled my eyes so many times during the course of this book I developed a headache.
The police procedures were non-existent.
The main character gets angry at another character because he's a divorce attorney, and she expects an apology from him because he didn't tell her everything about himself in the first encounter. Also I get this is supposed to be a cozy mystery but do the characters have to be so dang immature, how did this main character survive living in San Francisco when she was so naive.

A well cultivated beach read

A great (mostly) lighthearted Beach read. Well developed characters that captivate your attention and leave you wanting more. A great relaxing book with wonderful narration that is just the right amount of exciting. One of my favorite audiobooks.

Just a heads up, commercials ahead

I don't appreciate having to listen to a commercial for each chapter . It's annoying to be forced to endure commercials just to hear the story. If I want crafty ideas I know how to use etsy.

really lead character blonde hair

I'm thinking the author needs to be updated that blonde is not the only attractive hair color. she mentioned the blonde hair so many times it became overdone.

Great book

Maybe it's the Idaho girl in me, but I loved this book. The characters were genuine, and the story was great. I loved the little blog snippets enough to go see if Mashed Potatoes and Crafts actually exists. It DOES!

Could do without the how to do parts

I did enjoy listening to the book but could have done without the wedding how to do info at the beginning of each chapter. I am primarily interested in the mystery story not tips for wedding favors and other things. I gave a four star because of the interruptions at every chapter of something that was totally unnecessary and unwanted. It became very annoying. Otherwise, the story was very good. The narrator also did a good job. Please next book only the story.

Perfect example of clueless woman

Female lead is begging to be a victim. The male character she starts dating clearly oozes stalker, creepy, and bat crap crazy. Just a little too classic horror story dumb blonde character. Author has potential but fails on this one. Love narrator though

very average book

the story was fine although a bit predictable. You van tell whose the big bad grom the begging eventhou the author tries to make the plot conveluded. But what annoyed me the most was immature and childlish main character. She was an adult but behaved like a teenager at most! I think the characters and their relations should be revised before publication.
