Dante is back in Camp Catastrophe, the second in this hilarious series for children aged 7+, by author/illustrator Brian Gordon. Perfect for fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

After winning their school quiz, Dante and Virgil are ready for a rest. But when Virgil suggests they go to Camp Sulfur Springs, Dante reluctantly agrees. What could possibly go wrong?

A LOT! Endless rain, sharing a cabin with his nemesis and being hit in the butt by a stray arrow are only the beginning of Dante's woes. With an outrageously annoying heartthrob camp counsellor and whisperings of a monster lurking in the woods, Dante’s problems are about to get MUCH worse!

Devilishly funny - Dante N. Ferno is a winner! (Tom Vaughan, author of Hercules: The Diary of a (Sort Of) Hero on Dante N. Ferno is NOT a Loser)
It's a fast paced, funny adventure for readers aged 7+. Highly recommended.
If you’re looking for madcap adventures to lure your reluctant readers out of comic books and into chapter books, then this anarchic, devilishly funny and highly illustrated new series from cartoonist and debut children’s author Brian Gordon is the picture perfect choice.
With a daft plot and larger-than-life characters, this hilarious chapter book also explores some serious issues, such as dealing with bullies, developing resilience, and making friends.
An entertaining, afterlife-themed addition to the pantheon of insecure, goofy tweens who could use a good friend
devilishly funny adventure...highly illustrated and fast-paced, making it a picture-perfect choice for building confidence. Parents will treasure the gently spun lessons on emotional growth and children will laugh at Dante’s outrageous misfortunes
The “wimpy” in Wimpy Kid is key. It hints at a self-awareness that readers respect. The main character of Gordon’s new illustrated novel series has self-awareness in spades.
