Aron Stone's thrilling quest comes to an epic close....
In the land of the fae, not everything is as it seems - a lesson Aron Stone must learn the hard way if he is to survive to continue his mission to destroy the Odinian king's oppressive regime. More than that, Aron must face the truth about his past and origins, which are mired in mystery and shrouded in fate. Will good conquer evil? The answer will be determined by the sword.

I am confused and disappointed
This entire book felt like it was cobbled together to end the series with no real thought as to the rest of the books. The MC was a good leader and although he screwed everything he came across, was a decent person. He was a capable combatant and showed his ability to work as part of team. Additionally, he spent a lot of time building bonds with his lovers and subordinates. The author spent time developing the side characters to some extent and the story line was interesting.
This book essentially throws away everything I just mentioned. The plot goes off in a random direction, abandoning everyone else to prop up a new character that is kinda crap. Even his goals in this book are pretty much forgotten until the end when they are resolved with a random footnote. After ignoring all the build up and potential of the story, the author just throws in a random deus ex machina to win the day.
I do not expect a lot from the harem genre, but this was one of the more disappointing endings to a series I have seen. If you have not started the series then know that it drops off in writing quality, content, and rationale at the end. I am sad to see it end this way and will not follow this author any more.

My words won't do my dislike of this book Justice
I hate reactionary characters. Especially when they're the protagonist. A million times more if you ask me to believe they're 'special' and that they'll change the world.
I got about half way through the book before I couldn't take it anymore. This book is told from two perspectives, Aaron's and Thornpricks'. The former is basically doing as he's told the entire time, being lead around the nose by the author from one pussy to another, meekly but with an annoying bark. Like an angry chihuahua. Cute but ultimately harmless.
Thornprick goes ultimate simp mode. His 'love' binding him to his paramour's obvious psychopathy. While it's clear what way the story will go, and that he'll grow out of it and do the right thing, the journey is torturous and unenjoyable, making any ultimate pay-off doomed to failure.
Maybe this could have worked if Stone actually did something other than shrug his shoulders and accept his dire situation (an absolutely ludicrous statement given the earlier books, which is a large part of why this book is so unbearable), or if the Queen (King? I could have sworn she's referred to as both) had been better written and more sympathetic.
None of this is the case though.
At the time I quit this book it looked like the next book would happen in the Elvish kingdom. Pardon me, but I'll not be coming back for an entire book of Stone doing sweet FA while a culture is being expositioned at me.
Ugh.
I think the only characters I actually like are the Dwarves.
Performance not at fault here and well done, has to be said.

Disappointing ending to a promising series
Roughly halfway through this book I was eager for it to be over. Not because I couldn't wait for the finale, but because I quickly got sick of the constant pointless orgies that seemed to just crop up from no where for no good reason. The final battle also felt underwhelming and the twist at the end confused the hell out of me because there was no foreshadowing at all in the entire series and it felt like the author was grasping at straws to beat an enemy painted to be all powerful. If you've read the other two books purely for the erotic parts, you'll like this one I guess, but I didn't. None of this is the fault of the narrator who once again did a fantastic job.

It was just ok
I felt like the author was being rushed to throw something together. All the female characters reacted the same way to sharing the main character and what started out as an interesting story just went downhill.

SKIP CHAPTER 18
The series is great until Chapter 18. WAY TOO MUCH going on. Ch. 19 will clear up some of the missing, but it'll save you the headache & disappointment that is in this lone chapter. Otherwise...ENJOY!

Great Narration the Story was rushed to ending
Great Narration for what I assume is the end of this series but I feel like I was shorted another book on the Fae and clear ending for the Human portion. The ending was rushed but still a great book.

The Authors wildest wet dream
Well I had to force myself to finish all 3 books. I bought them after reading the summary and liking the idea of the plot. well it turns out the summary is the secondary plot. the main plot is to stoke the authors sexual fantasies. If the author would have spent as much time on the plot in the summary as he does on the orgies it may have been better. the mc is all but defeated in almost every battle until miraculously someone else comes in and saves the day at the last possible moment. every woman but 2 in the entire series wants the mc in bed and the author goes into extreme detail on those encounters while skipping over any other encounter. there is a great idea for a great story in here but it will take a good author to bring it to life and Aaron Stone is not that. maybe he is a good porn writer but he should leave the fantasy stories to other.

Not good.
I was interested in the story from the first two. I bought this despite not really liking the last book, the performance is grating and the story is uninspired. I can’t count how many times the same concept is reiterated in the same damn paragraph. It made me want to pull my hair out. If I could return it I would. The only reason I finished it was because it wasn’t eligible for a return. And even then I skipped like three or four hours.

A fun series
I like this trilogy of books. There were moments when I thought this was all a bit Deus Ex Machina, but overall it was a fun read and definitely worth listening to.
