Sintesi dell'editore

The world wants its soul back....

This audiobook is for highly sensitive people who have felt out of place in the modern world. It provides a narrative that describes how they fit into a lineage of creatives throughout history, and how their gifts are needed during this precise era of "new renaissance" on Earth.

In this book, author Jacob Nordby offers a bold new definition of success in the modern era. "The only success now is living and creating a work-of-art life: unique, rich with meaning, naked of anything we don't care about, and ruthless about carving out something absolutely real from a world that has gorged itself on fakeness and become critically ill from it. The only failure now is pulling back from that quest because of fear." Expanding upon his short original "Blessed Are the Weird" piece that became a viral phenomenon, he traces the roots of soulful artistry and creation to ancient times and back again to reveal the insistent, eternal quest of our true natures that demands something real - as if our very existence depends upon it.

This book is a call to creatives (and those who want to be) with the clear message that it has never been more critical to heed the call of soul than it is during this exciting, dangerous new renaissance epoch on Planet Earth. Heartfelt and sometimes humorous, it lights a signal fire for all who feel out of place in the modern world and invites them to claim their heritage as members in an ancient lineage - those tenders of soul and beauty who have always kept the flame alive for humanity.

This is a book for everyone who wants to lead a deep, true, and passionate life and leave the world better for having passed this way.

Blessed Are the Weird. Your time has come to define the new normal.

Should be given as a certification

Sometimes those of us growing-up outside the click of cool people wish we had a diploma which allowed us to be ourselves. Here’s a diploma for us. If you too grew into a spiritual journey seeker which costs more than it gives. There are excellent exceptions which gives value too. However, after treating this audiobook as a rare gem where each chapter was allowed to sink in, I ended up binging on the last 2.5 hours I could not stop. It was as if I got my soul truly fuel-filled. This manifesto is creating a new genre: spiritual development. Unlike self-development this book does not try to change or improve you because you are what and who you need to be.

Blessed are the weird, therapy for the creative

I've been struggling with severe depression and anxiety for months, years if I'm being honest, with the highest diatress experienced in the spring of 2018. Then I found Blessed Are The Weird and it changed my life.

From the debth of my soul Mr. Nordby, thank you on behalf of my family and myself.

Please know that without your work my path would have been hidden for much longer than would have been healthy.

Through your simple act of kindness and love, you have helped
me to save the strangest woman in Alberta.

I testify of your kindness and simple act of love constantly. I preach the virtues of weirdness to everyone I meet, a quality which has becomeas important to me as air.

From the bottom of my heart, you have my eternal gratitude.
