Bittersweet Narration

What did you love best about Bittersweet Love?

I am a fan of the Eaton Family Series. So this story was very enjoyable.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bittersweet Love?

The most memorable moment was when Belinda & Griffin realized how wrong they both were in their opinions of each other..

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator was a disappointment. First, she mispronounced a number of words throughout the story. It was VERY distracting. Second, her reading was choppy in places; pausing where she should not have. Third, her reading just went flat at some points. It was as if this was a practice run. Some of the other Eaton stories were narrated by Corey Allen, ...very enjoyable other than his voice did not register as low as it should have for some of the male dialogue. But he did not constantly mispronounce words as Erica Love did.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

It takes Two!

Not very exciting

The story was a bit boring to me and it did not help that the narrator was so monotone in her delivery. The only time I heard excitement was when she was narrating the twins. Also, to me it was pretty quick how fast they fell in love. It seemed like a big gap was missing there.

Bittersweet Review

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I believe the story is good, excellent even but this narrator is horrible.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the fact that they are raising the twins together.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

She has one tone!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes because it would be actors and visuals.

Any additional comments?

I'm going to buy the kindle books,

Narrator worth a penny/min!

This narrator isn't even fit for children's books. Seriously??? A wonderful story ruined! If u can get past the narration, you will love the story.

Great for insomnia

I struggled to finish this. The voice was monotone and left a lot to be desired. The readers voice robbed from the storyline with her voice.

Narrator is not good

I stopped after chapter 5. The narrator is completely boring so I just got bored with the story. I think it is a good story though. Maybe one I need to read. It seems that All Rochelle Alers narrators suck. They read super slow and boring. It’s unfortunate, because I could probably listen to her whole collection if there were better narrators.

Boring Narration

I tried to get into the story but the narrator was like NyQuil. I couldn’t get into it. She had very little passion and emotion in her voice as she read the lines.

Soporific Narration

The narration was so mellow I could not stay awake long enough to get to what this book is about. Put me straight to sleep! Would not recommend while driving or operating heavy machinery.

Narrator? Two Thumbs Down!

It is a good story, sweet and predictable, but could have been so much better with a narrator to put some life and emotion into the narration, some personality into the characters.

OMG! Did the narrator not read the book first before the actual recording? Was there no director to catch all the mispronounced words? There were so many of them! And the pauses at the page turnings! This was torture to listen to. The six hours felt like 12.

I'm going to listen to the next book in this series even though the narrator is the same. She has a very pleasant sounding voice, but just didn't use it to bring the book to life. Monotones do not work in recorded books. I'm hoping that she will have gained experience and learned from her mistakes by the time she recorded the second book in this series.
