Sandra Birchmore told Matthew Farwell about his twin brother. Prosecutors allege Farwell's answer was to demand she re-earn his trust — not to confront William, not to leave. Tony Brueski and Robin Dreeke examine the psychology behind the demand and the texts read at trial. Prosecutors say Farwell allegedly told Sandra to delete messages, call him her older brother, and stay hidden. He ran her name through police databases twenty-four times. William testified the twins never discussed Sandra while she was alive. When Sandra's friend called Stoughton PD and named Farwell on January 20, 2021, trial testimony says he told the dispatcher to drop it. Sandra texted Farwell: "Thanks for making me feel like everyone else has. I wish I was never born." Farwell is charged federally with killing Sandra. He has pleaded not guilty.
