Ghouls and boils, welcome back to the mausoleum! This week, we’re diving into two delightfully dark Tales From The Crypt instalments about people chasing what they want at any cost—whether it’s a struggling actor willing to kill for the role of a lifetime, or a ruthless thief after a priceless black pearl.

And our guest is literary writer Sophie Cadden.

Overlooked actor Barry Blye (Jon Lovitz) is desperate to land the lead in a production of Hamlet. When a rival (Bruce Boxleitner) stands in his way, Barry takes matters into his own hands—only to discover the theatre company has a deadly idea of what it means to get top billing.

~ [ 00:37:00 ] “Dead Wait”

Thief Red Buckley (James Remar) kills his partner and sets out to steal a priceless black pearl from plantation owner Emilie Duvall (John Rhys-Davies). But with Duvall’s wife (Vanity) and voodoo priestess Peligre (Whoopi Goldberg) in the mix, the heist soon turns into a very messy affair.
