Former UAP Task Force director Jay Stratton says that at 4 a.m. on March 12, 2014, something stood outside his window, looking at his sleeping son. In his new memoir, Out of the Shadows, the investigator becomes the witness. We take his account seriously and ask what supports each part of it.

Bill Van Nort follows Stratton from the Office of Naval Intelligence and the UAP Task Force to a shimmering figure at Skinwalker Ranch, the "hitchhiker effect" his family describes at home, Travis Taylor's monitoring device, and his claims about a concealed program, Hal Puthoff, Eric Davis and Jim Ryder.
