Travis and Vince sit down with former LAFC coach Marc Dos Santos to discuss his years with the club, his emotions after being let go, and why pro sports is “cutthroat.” Marc shares his favorite LAFC memory—Gareth Bale’s extra-time goal in the MLS Cup Final—and behind-the-scenes details from that week. He reflects on the season’s highs and lows, including the Concacaf Champions League run, fatigue, roster and visa challenges, transfer-window instability, and officiating mistakes the league later acknowledged. Marc explains how LAFC’s desired style influenced evaluations, describing the difficulty of shifting from a transition-based identity to more possession and pressure. He addresses the “MAGA” label tied to social-media follows, and highlights unsung staff, players he admired—especially Giorgio Chiellini—and his all-time LAFC best XI.
