In this Substack Live discussion, we get together to discuss our recent buddy read, OLD SOUL by Susan Barker, and we had so many thoughts about this creepy story.
If you’re not familiar with the book, it starts out with two strangers, Jake and Mariko, who miss their flight. They end up having a discussion later where they realize that they each have a loved one who met a mysterious woman who claimed to be a photographer and took their photos. Afterwards, their loved ones ended up dead. This sparks Jake to investigate who the woman is and why people keep dying after they meet her.
