There’s a version of Christianity being pushed in this country right now at the federal level, and it ain’t your grandma’s Christianity.

In this episode I sit down with researcher and writer Melissa Witte to talk about the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR): what it is, what it believes, where it came from, and how it got this close to power. Melissa walks through the history behind it, from Darby, Moody and the Scofield Bible to Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, the televangelist era, John Hagee, and Lance Wallnau’s 7 Mountain Mandate. We also get into the Johnson Amendment, Christian Zionism, and whether the pastors behind this movement are true believers or bad actors.

If you’ve heard the term “NAR” thrown around and never knew what it meant, start here.
