This story from the UK top 40 singles chart we’re looking at this week all seem united by one thing...how it sucks to be a famous pop star.

When you’re not suing your record company (Badly Drawn Boy), you’re having people hack your phones (The Ordinary Boys), or you’re going into cocaine psychosis (Rick James) or you’re having to fire band members to STOP yourself going into cocaine psychosis (Placebo).

Not great for these artists, but gives us lots of great 2000s pop music history (and great 2000s pop music in general) to talk about!Featuring the following tracks:Badly Drawn Boy - Nothing’s Gonna Change Your Mind
