My guest today is Dr. Anthony Buccafurni, Chief Executive Officer of FOX Rehabilitation — the largest network of house-call physical therapy practices in the country. Anthony's path started as a treating clinician: he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2002 and joined FOX in 2003 as a full-time therapist.
From there, his rise through the organization was rapid — Regional Director, Senior Regional Director, Director of Clinical Operations, Chief Clinical Operations Officer, and Chief Operating Officer in 2020 — before being named CEO in May of 2025. Along the way, he led the expansion of FOX's footprint across New Jersey and used his change-management expertise to reorganize Quality Assurance, Professional Development, Sales, and Admissions.
Today, he's also an outspoken advocate for the physical therapy profession, working with organizations like the Alliance for Physical Therapy Quality and Innovation on issues like falls prevention and Medicare reimbursement.
