Tony sits down with Sean Foley for a candid conversation about what really separates good golf from great. Sean has spent the fall giving leadership talks to corporate audiences, and he explains why he treats every tour player like a business, with a product, a sales force, and a management team.

In this episode:

• Why the word “mental” gets thrown around too easily, and why the real problem is often the swing or the conditions
• A TrackMan example: the same player gained 9.8 strokes in one test and lost 8.5 in another, a 17-shot difference with no change in how the swing looked on video
• Training for variety, such as playing the back, middle, and front tees for score on the same day
• Accepting adversity, with a story about a delayed flight and how that mindset carries over to a bad round
• Why positivity only goes so far, but negativity always hurts
• The “You’re Not As Good As You Think You Are” proximity sheet, and the stories of Hunter Mahan and Kenny Perry
• Why you should compare yourself to the Zach Johnsons of the game, not the Scottie Schefflers
