Darrell Hall, a biology professor awaiting a murder verdict, recounts how a recurring figure from his dreams begins to invade his waking life. Boris Karloff stars in this broadcast, introduced as the first in a special series of Lights Out appearances.
Lights Out was created by Wyllis Cooper in 1934. Arch Oboler took over as writer in 1936 and became closely associated with the series and its psychological horror stories. This recording comes from the Lights Out collection at the Internet Archive.
Content note: psychological horror, murder, and disturbing dream imagery.
