Robbie Savage has his first win as Peterborough United manager!
Ashley and Charlie react to Posh’s 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town U21s and discuss the first signs of what life under Savage could look like.
The first half brought aggressive pressing, attacking football and chances galore, with Harry Leonard amongst the goals and Harry Ashfield impressing once again.
We discuss the standout performers, Savage’s tactical approach, Liam Kelly’s new role, Owura Edwards’ end product and the noticeable drop-off after half-time.
It was only Ipswich U21s and Leicester will provide a completely different test but was this our first glimpse of a genuinely exciting new era at Peterborough United?
