What if the Christian story begins not with our search for God—but with God searching for us?
In this episode of The Guardian Watch, Renato Peter and Jason Whitehead continue their journey through the Catechism of the Catholic Church and explore one of the foundations of the Christian faith: Divine Revelation.
Human reason can lead us to recognize that God exists—but reason alone can only take us so far. Why does God choose to reveal Himself? Why does He do so gradually throughout history? And what does the way God reveals Himself teach us about freedom, love, and our relationship with Him?
Renato and Jason also explore why revelation is ultimately not simply information about God, but an invitation into relationship with Jesus Christ—and how Scripture, Sacred Tradition, Baptism, and our daily response allow that relationship to become part of our lives.
For Guardians, there is an important parallel: security is never the mission in itself. Security serves the mission. We safeguard the space where the Church can carry out her work, where people can encounter Christ, and where God's grace can quietly transform lives.
God has already spoken. The question is whether we are listening—and whether we are willing to respond.
