What calls a person to preach the gospel or carry it to the nations? And how can the church help prepare them?
In this episode of the Unashamed Truth podcast, Grant Castleberry sits down with Ian Hamilton to discuss his conversion in Glasgow, his call to pastoral ministry, and the vital role of the local church in discerning and confirming that call. Drawing on decades as a pastor and seminary professor, Hamilton explains why theological training must shape a minister’s character as well as his mind.
The conversation then turns to world missions. Hamilton shares how missionary biographies and his work with Radius International have deepened his concern for unreached peoples. His central appeal is to see the glory of Christ: the Savior is worthy of being known, loved, and worshiped among all nations.
Whether you are considering ministry or seeking to strengthen your church’s commitment to missions, this conversation offers biblical counsel and encouragement.
